COPE is also active in Italy, specifically in Sicily, with numerous activities:
Information desks: for to make known the CoPE, its mission, projects and activities and to establish contact with anyone interested in international cooperation.
Exhibitions of African crafts: with the sartorial creations of the women of Mkomanile craft, to see first-hand the results of a women's empowerment project and... get to know Africa a little better!
Global Citizenship Education in Schools: Teaching the New Generation the Values of Integration and Development Cooperation.
Social activism: taking part in public demonstrations, solidarity events, parades, meetings... To show which side you are on we are.
Volunteers – First Information
For years we have been training new volunteers through the First Information Meetings (First Info), intended for aspiring volunteers, a precious resource for the organization. These meetings represent a special moment of reflection and exchange with all those who want approach the issues of international volunteering, thus allowing us to provide specific information on issues relating to development, North-South relations and the organisation's activities abroad and on the territory.
