What is it, what can you do with less than €1 a day, which projects can you support
Child sponsorship is a decision that can give hopes and opportunities, by respecting the geographical, cultural and social context in which children live.
With less than €1 a day (€300 a year), you can guarantee both general and specific treatments to ill children or children with disabilities; residential and nursing assistance to orphans or children with parental issues; primary and secondary education for children and young people, with an age between 6 and 20.
WE REMIND YOU THAT
cash donations made by individuals or entities subject to corporate income tax in favour of non-profit organisations of social utility are deductible in your tax return.
Where in the world
You can choose to support the children benefiting from these projects remotely:
Tanzania
SISI NI KESHO PROJECT Nyololo Village, Iringa Region: at the Sisi ni Kesho Centre, we provide health care and residential care for children aged 0-6 years with malnutrition, HIV-positive or orphans. To the young guests of the Centre we guarantee the necessary care and also a pathway to reintegration into a family (natural family of origin or local adoptive family).
MANGAFALY CENTRE For the children and young people who attend our Mangafaly Multipurpose Day Care Centre in Ambanja, you give them the opportunity to attend school, ensure that they are able to catch up and reintegrate into the school curriculum. In addition, for the Mangafaly pupils with your donation you guarantee the canteen service, calibrated to the recommended nutritional standards, and hygiene and health training for the families. Distance Support also covers the expenses for some children attending the primary school in Ambanja;
You can provide health care and food aid to families and children in the village of Bula and neighbouring villages. The project is run in cooperation with local nuns, nutrition centres and associations that care for children
